   Although always having a family dog, my first Border Terrier - Frodo - was my introduction into the dog world and I became hooked! I had some success with him in the ring and also attended training and basic obedience classes with him.

   Someone said that Borders come in pairs and that’s is what happened, closely followed by another then another! I never thought I would breed but I did and along came Obi (US UK Ch Orangebox Firecracker). He really changed the playing field for me. Then I had the opportunity to start judging this wonderful breed.

   Not all Borders want to show but they all like a job to do. I enjoy doing agility with some of my dogs. This is still a new hobby but one in which I have started to compete recently.

   I am very much looking forward to judging the confirmation section of the Total Dog Competition.
